Why should you learn to read written crochet patterns?

Many crochet projects aren’t available in a video format. For so many crochet projects, the only instructions are written in standard format. You make so many options available to yourself by learning to read written crochet patterns! No more limits on what you can make! Be aware though that different English-speaking countries use slightly different abbreviations, stitch names, and formatting. I write my patterns in standard US format, learned from years of publishing with magazines and yarn companies. The video below teaches standard US terms.
