Finished Measurements 6 ¾ inches wide x 72 inches around

Yarn We Crochet City Tweed DK [55% Merino Wool, 25% Superfine Alpaca, 20% Donegal Tweed; 123 yds (112.5 m); 1 ¾ oz (50 g); yarn weight 3/light] #28196 Harbor Seal 3 balls, #28201 Primrose 1 ball, #28200 Grove 1 ball, #25521 Coastal 1 ball.

Crochet Hook J/10 (6 mm), or size needed to obtain gauge.

Notions Yarn needle

Gauge 6 patt reps x 11 rows = About 4 inches (10 cm)

Notes

The infinity scarf begins at one short edge. It is worked in rows, changing colors at some points to include the colored stripes. At the end of the last row, you will turn, bring the two ends even with RS facing each other, and seam as instructed.

To change colors, work the last hdc of the row before the change to the last yo, leaving at least a 6” tail of both colors, cut first color, pull a loop of new color through 3 loops on hook, ch 1 for next row with new color, turn, and complete the next row with new color.

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, *(sc, ch 1, dc) in next ch**, skip 2 chs, repeat from * across to last 2 chs, ending last rep at **, skip next ch, hdc in last ch, turn — 10 patt reps.

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first st, sk next st, *(sc, ch 1, dc) in next ch sp**, skip 2 sts, repeat from * across to last 2 sts, ending last repeat at **, sk next st, hdc in last st, turn.

Repeat Row 2 for pattern.

Scarf

Working in Wattle Stitch work 204 total rows in the following colors:

Harbor Seal first 40 rows

Primrose next 8 rows

Grove next 8 rows

Coastal next 8 rows

Harbor Seal next 78 rows

Primrose next 8 rows

Grove next 8 rows

Coastal next 8 rows

Harbor Seal last 38 rows.

204 rows total

Seaming

Turn work after finishing last row. Bring two short ends even with RS facing each other. Working through both thicknesses, ch 1, sl st in first st, ch 1, *sl st in ch sp**, ch 2, repeat from * to last 2 sts, ending last rep at **, ch 1, sl st in last st. Fasten off.

Finishing

Weave in ends. Block if needed.
