Simple crochet heart earrings pattern
It turns out that people are looking for a crochet heart earrings pattern, so I was happy to oblige and provide one! These little hearts are about 5/8 inch across and I’ve attached them to French earring hooks. These are fairly easy. If you’re comfortable working in the round, you shouldn’t have any trouble with them.

Finished Measurements: Hearts are about 5/8 x 5/8 inches.
Thread: Aunt Lydia’s Classic Crochet Thread Size 10 (100% Mercerized Cotton; 350 yds) 1 cone Cardinal Red.
Crochet Hook: Steel US size 6 (1.6 mm)
Notions: 2 French earring hooks, jewelry pliers, tapestry needle.

Tip
Want to make the hearts a little bigger? Use size 3 thread and a 3.5 mm crochet hook, which is an E in larger aluminum hooks, or a 00 in steel hooks.
Heart (make 2)
Make a Magic Circle.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, 6 sc in circle, pull tail tight to close center – 6 sts.
Rnd 2: (Sc, dc) in first st, 2 dc in next st, ch 1, sl st in next st, ch 1, 2 dc in next st, (dc, sc) in next st, (sc, ch 2, sc) in last st, sl st in first st to join – 11 sts. Fasten off.
Finishing
Weave in ends.
Using jewelry pliers, open ring at bottom of an earring hook, place through top center of one heart, use pliers to close ring. Repeat for second heart.
Finished.
