Tunisian Crochet Knit Stitch Tutorial
Tunisian Crochet Knit Stitch
Tunisian crochet is a specific variety of crochet. In Tunisian crochet you pick up loops all across your row in a “forward pass” and then work them off your hook in a “return pass.” There are lots of different Tunisian crochet stitches, and they can produce some beautiful fabrics! In this post I want to teach you how to do the Tunisian crochet knit stitch.

In order to work Tunisian crochet, you will need a Tunisian crochet hook. This is a type of crochet hook that doesn’t have a thumb rest. The shaft is the same circumference all the way down. Some also have a cable at the end, thus allowing you to make really wide Tunisian projects without having a really long solid hook. I suggest ChiaoGoo Tunisian crochet hooks, which you can purchase on Amazon.
