(C)2024 April Garwood. As with all my patterns, please do not make paper or digital copies for others. Instead, please direct them to my website to get their own. Thank you!
Diffculty Level: Easy
Yarn: Originally I used Valley Yarns Longmeadow (60% Cotton, 40% Microfiber; 117 yd [107 m]/1 ¾ oz [50 g]; yarn weight 3/light). However, this yarn has been discontinued. Instead I recommend you use the following:
Cascade Yarns Cherub DK (55% Nylon, 45% Acrylic; 180 yds; 50 g; yarn weight 3/light/DK): One skein each of #110 Sangria, #29 Smoky Lavender, #19 Geranium, #34 Classic Blue, #36 Cactus, #01 White
Hook: Size G/6 [4.00 mm], or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 8-Petal Flower = About 3 inches diameter. Gauge is not critical for this project.
Notes
This pattern is written in standard US terms. For help with crochet abbreviations, get my free, printable crochet abbreviations list here.
Use these colors as you desire, making as many of each piece as you like (I made 2 of each) in whichever colors you like. You can combine shapes as desired or leave some or all of them by themselves. Also, use whichever color you choose for the garland chain (I used #01 White).

Great thing about this crochet flower garland pattern is that it is giving you the tools to build something that is very individually yours. Put these little motifs together however you like! You can make a garland with them, or hairclips or headbands. You could use them to applique to t-shirts, or to decorate bags, or even to decorate a hat.
Happy National Crochet Month! Enjoy the pattern! I will put a page on Ravelry for it, so if you make it, please share pictures there or on my Facebook page! Please sign up for my newsletter!
