YAY! My afghan block is a semi-finalist!

My 12″x12″ afghan block has been chosen as a semi-finalist in the “Chain Reaction” Afghan project. Interweave Crochet, and their crochet community website Crochetme.com, is sponsoring this project. They have had 10 of their frequent designers design afghan blocks that have been published in the Summer and upcoming Fall issue of Interweave Crochet. They had readers and Crochetme.com users design blocks and upload them into a contest gallery. They have now chosen 25 semi-finalist entries to be voted on by registered Crochetme.com users. The 10 entried receiving the most votes will win a contract and $100 for the designer. And, the 10 winning squares will be published in either the Winter or Spring issues of Interweave Crochet. If you are not a registered user of Crochetme.com, and you crochet even a little bit, you can register here. Once you are registered, PLEASE vote for my block by clicking here and then finding the “Vote for This” link on the right-hand side! Thanks guys/gals!
Happy crocheting!
