I’m so excited that you are here to join in the Easter Egg Hunt! In this fun event, you will be looking for Easter Eggs here on my website, sharing the URLs where you find them, and getting rewarded for it!

How does the Easter Egg Hunt work?
First, look around here on my website to find Easter Eggs. Here’s what the Easter Egg looks like:
You’re looking for the exact yellow Easter Egg you see above this sentence. There are five of these images sprinkled throughout the blog posts here on my website.
None of the Easter eggs have been hidden inside of “locked content” sections where you have to login to view the content.
When you find one, look at the address bar of your browser. Copy the URL, and then paste it into a note or document or write it down just so you don’t forget it.
Or you can paste them right into the submission form.
When you’ve found at least two Easter Eggs, or up to all five, use the submission form to submit the URLs of the eggs you found.
DO NOT SHARE URLs of Easter eggs with others. Anyone found to be doing this will be disqualified.
PRIZES!
There are prizes to be had for participating, of course. What fun would an egg hunt be without prizes?!
Each individual that finds at least TWO Easter eggs will get a coupon code for one free pattern download on Ravelry!
You don’t have to be a Ravelry user to get a pattern this way, so don’t worry if you aren’t on Ravelry and don’t want to be, though Ravelry accounts are free.
If you are really motivated and find FOUR of the five Easter Eggs you will be entered into the GRAND PRIZE drawing!

Two winners will each receive two skeins of Araucania Huasco Kettle Dyed DK yarn. One winner will get two skeins of the Blueberries colorway, and the other winner will get one skein of Plum plus one skein of Jade.

Nitty gritty details
I’m going to fend off the inevitable questions by answering them now.
The free downloads for those that find two Easter Eggs are used on Ravelry and not elsewhere. Etsy charges me a listing fee and a percentage of every transaction, so your free download would cost me money if I hosted it there. And sending a separate email to everyone that earns a download would be a serious drain on my time, so Ravelry coupon code it is.
On the subject of looking for Easter Eggs, remember it is the exact image shown above that you are looking for. No other images that contain eggs or Easter eggs will count.
The Easter egg image in THIS post DOES count as one of the five.
If you go to the bottom of this, or any post, you will see a link to the previous post, and, if applicable, the next post. If you click the previous post link and skim over the page looking for the Easter egg, then you can go back to the previous post link at the bottom of each post to move from post to post without skipping any.
You will submit the URL of each egg you find with this SUBMISSION FORM. Emailed submissions will not count, just those submitted through the form.
When the event is over I will send an email with the free download code to those that submitted two correct URLs. This email will be sent on Tuesday April 22nd.
All those that submit four or more correct URLs will be placed into a drawing for the two grand prizes described above. The winners will be chosen with the help of a random number generator. I will announce the winners on my social media channels and email them individually to coordinate shipment of the prizes.
The prizes CAN be shipped internationally, so the prizes are available to all no matter where they live! HOWEVER, if you live outside of the US and there are customs fees to ship to you, the winner will be responsible for paying those.
