Helena Heart Mitts are one of my own free crochet patterns. This fingerless gloves pattern includes seven sizes for children and adults. The hearts are made using surface crochet, which you can learn with the included tutorial video.

Kris’s favorite Valentine’s Day memory: My mother put together my valentine’s for me, when I was in second grade. She chose a boy who was her favorite in my class made sure he got the gushiest, mushiest, valentine from me. He stood up and yelled at me from across the room…he was mad at the Valentine I had given him. It didn’t phase me…I didn’t know what he was talking about. LOL I figured it out later.

My favorite Valentine’s Day memory: When I was a kid and teen my mom would always get my sisters and me a small box of Whitman’s chocolates for Valentine’s Day, and those little yellow boxes that look like a cross stitch sampler were the perfect gift from my mom, who taught me to love all things needle craft!
