Cascade Yarns ReVerb is an eco-friendly yarn! It is 70% Polyester from recycled plastic, and 30% Recycled Alpaca. It’s a soft two-ply yarn that is DK weight (#3). I loved working with it!
You will start this crochet infinity scarf pattern by making 24 solid granny squares, three rounds each. Then you join them all together. Click here for a video to learn how to make solid granny squares! Soon I will have a video out to teach how to join them.
Next you crochet the striped section in double crochet, then you join the two sections together. Last, you edge the top and bottom of the whole scarf.

Make an adjustable ring
Rnd 1 Ch 2 (does not count as a st), working into the adjustable ring *3 dc, ch 2, repeat from * 2 times, 3 dc, pull tail gently to tighten ring, hdc in first st to join, space under hdc counts as a corner ch sp — 12 sts.
Rnd 2 Ch 2, 2 dc in first corner ch sp, *dc in each st to next corner ch sp**, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in ch sp, repeat from * 3 times, ending last rep at **, 2 dc in beginning corner ch sp again, hdc in first st to join — 28 sts.
Rnd 3 Repeat Rnd 2 — 44 sts. Fasten off.
Joining Squares
Arrange squares in a checkerboard fashion, 3 squares by 8 squares. Join two columns of 3 squares each as follows. Click here for a video tutorial on this joining technique!
Hold first set of squares with WS together, working through both thicknesses, and working with Olive, join with sc in first corner ch sp, *sc in each set of sts across to next corner ch sp, sc in corner ch sp**, ch 1, pick up next set of squares for these two columns, hold them WS tog, sc in first corner ch sp, repeat from * 2 times, ending last rep at ** — 39 sts. Fasten off.
Repeat the above instructions to join each new column of three squares to the scarf.
Fold scarf between first and second rows with WS together and join the row in the same manner, continuing until you get to the end of the row. Repeat for the join between second and third rows.
Striped Section
Using the following instructions, (work 2 rows in Peach Blossom, 2 rows in Apricot, 2 rows in Olive)3 times, work 2 rows in Peach Blossom.
Ch 117
Row 1 Dc in 3rd ch from hook (ch 2 does not count as a st) and each ch across, turn — 115 sts.
Row 2 Ch 2, dc in each st across to last st, work last st as follows: yo, insert hook in last st, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops, yo with new color, pull through 2 loops, turn.
Row 3 Ch 2, dc in each st across, turn.
Alternate repeating Rows 2 and 3 for a total of 20 rows, following the stripe pattern given above.
Joining Sections
To seam the striped and granny square sections together, with WS of two sections facing, one short side of each lined up together, working through both thicknesses, join Olive with sc at corner and sc evenly across. Fasten off. Repeat for the other set of short sides.
To edge the whole scarf along top and bottom edges, begin at one of the seams between sections, join Olive with sc, sc around, join to first st with sl st. Fasten off. Repeat for other side.
Weave in ends.
