Wanette Winter Set, Easy Knitting Patterns

Easy Knit Winter Accessories, Free patterns! Headband, Mittens, and Cowl by April Garwood of Banana Moon Studio

I bring you beautiful, but simple, winter accessories! This matched set includes a cowl, earwarmer headband, and mittens that are easy knitting patterns. These are sized to fit adults, but work just as well for teens and tweens. They fit my 11 year old daughter nicely, and they fit me nicely.

I am offering this pattern for free! However, if you would like a nice, put-together PDF file, or if you would just like to support my little business, you can do that by ordering the $2.00 PDF from Ravelry, Etsy, or LoveCrafts.

Size 10 40 inch [102 cm] circulars (for Magic Loop), size 10 24 inch [61 cm] circulars or size 10 DPNs, or size needed to obtain gauge. If you change this needle size, then use needles one size smaller instead of size 9.

Notes

All 3 pieces are worked in the rnd with RS always facing, except for the 5 rows of the mitten thumbhole. You will work flat for those 5 rows.

I suggest that for all three pieces, you use the Super Stretchy Bind-off when binding off is needed. See instructions below.
