One Skein Knit Cowl Free Pattern: Lumi Cowl

One skein knit cowl free pattern!

Lumi Cowl is a one skein knit cowl free pattern! This knit cowl begins with a bottom border of garter stitch. Next comes a lace panel, and then it is finished with a top border of garter stitch. I made my original with just one skein of Cascade Yarns Spuntaneous Worsted Effects. Sadly, this yarn has been discontinued. I recommend Knit Picks Preciosa Tonal Worsted as a substitute. You will need just one skein.

Difficulty Level: Intermediate

Finished Measurements: 29 ½ inches around x 9 ¼ inches wide [75 cm around x 23.5 cm wide]

However, this yarn has been discontinued. Instead, I suggest Cascade Yarns Eco Duo #1703 Storm.

My first version of this one skein knit cowl free pattern was made with handspun yarn. You can see this cowl below. I made the “official” version in a commercially-available yarn so that you could see it, and hopefully love it, in a yarn that you could purchase.
