What are corner to corner crochet patterns?

One really fun way to use color is to make corner to corner crochet patterns. Sometimes we see “corner to corner” abbreviated C2C. There’s a pretty common stitch pattern that we use when working corner to corner, but really, that term can apply to any crochet pattern that starts at one corner and works in diagonal rows across to the opposite corner. A lot of C2C projects use different colors to make pictures, words, or geometric designs. But corner to corner crochet projects don’t have to use different colors, or create words or pictures.

How do you work corner to corner crochet patterns?

Well, that depends on the stitch pattern used. As I said, not all corner to corner, or C2C patterns use the same stitch pattern, so it will be important to follow the pattern you are using.

However, if you are doing a C2C colorwork pattern that uses a double crochet block stitch pattern, I have a video tutorial that can help you with the stitch pattern and the color changes.
