Learn to join sections of crochet as you work, tutorial by April Garwood of Banana Moon Studio

You can use slip stitches to join different sections of crochet as you work. This is great for color blocking! As it turns out, it’s also great for working in plaid!

Just recently I released a new free crochet pattern called Stratford Scarf (click here to see it on Ravelry). I used this joining technique for the Stratford Scarf, which is pictured below, and this video tutorial will demonstrate how to join the different sections as you work!
