I’m so excited about this blog post! This crochet design is made in Red Heart Chic Sheep Yarn, by Marly Bird, whose podcast I will be on as her guest! If you missed it, view it here.
As part of the podcast, we’ll be discussing my new crochet design, in her soft, squishy yarn! It’s called “Dot-to-dot Cowl.” I made this with 3 skeins of color #5641 Sterling. You can order this 100% wool yarn from Red Heart, or look for it at stores that carry Red Heart Yarns.

This marvelous crochet pattern is available on Ravelry, Etsy, and LoveCrochet for just $3.00 USD!
This is a generously-sized cowl, which I like. Nice and warm! It is about 13.5″ wide x 31.5″ around [that’s about 34.5 cm x 80 cm]. As you can see, it has a geometric design made with bobble stitches. If you’ve never worked with bobble stitches before, click here to see my video tutorial, and learn how to stitch them! It also begins and ends with crochet ribbing. This ribbing uses a really great technique, called post stitches. If you aren’t familiar with those, see my tutorial.
